Good for earth
Push the greater good
Sustainability at Good Indian
Creating best-in-class at leisure wear is not our only goal. We push the good in us by being good to the planet too. It will always be our endeavor to find opportunities to contribute to a cleaner, greener planet. From our packaging, to materials, to sourcing and to our carbon footprint, we aim to be a completely sustainable clothing brand, offering eco-friendly clothing made from recycled and sustainable materials.
Eco-friendly packaging
All our packaging and shipping material is made out of biodegradable and recycled materials. That means, we get you home the best of athleisure and pro wear, with minimum to no plastic use.
Recycling Polyester from PET bottles
Good Indian started with the question: how much recycled polyester can we use to create a range of high-performance sustainable active wear. At the moment, some of our gear is already made of 100% recycled PET bottles. And as we go along, our vision is to use only recycled polyester and other sustainable materials.
Using only The Good Cotton
For the best comfort, you need the best cotton. To add to it, we have a few more filters for cotton used in Good Indian clothes. Firstly, the cotton has to be grown while keeping the earth and water conscious. Secondly, it should come via fair trades to ensure proper compensation and treatment to the growers.
Carbon Offsetting Initiatives
Apart from being very minimal in our carbon footprint, we will offset the little that we cause. With the help of carbon offsetting NGOs, we keep our manufacturing and processes clean.
